Zeex is looking to revolutionize commerce and bridge the gap between cryptocurrencies and products. The Zeex app enables cryptocurrency-fueled payments via virtual gift cards for everyday purchases at retailers, so users can purchase a cup of coffee with Ethereum, for example, without the need for fiat conversions and with zero fees attached. Zeex isn’t limited to micropayments however, and can also be used for large purchases such as a Lambo.
Tap. Engage. Disrupt. By tap, Zeex is tapping into both the cryptocurrency and consumer markets. Engage reflects the integration of wallets and financial instruments. By disrupt, Zeex is revolutionizing the prepaid market.
In a nutshell, Zeex converts cryptocurrencies to virtual gift cards, thereby eliminating any fees or delays associated with crypto-to-fiat conversions. Users download the virtual gift card, the cashier scans the code and the transaction is completed.
Zeex is often able to access gift cards at a discount as a result of its sister company Zeek’s market position. Zeek boasts relationships with leading brands like Nike, Starbucks and Amazon, all of which blockchain startup Zeex is looking to leverage. Zeex is also developing its own relationships with suppliers independent of Zeek.
Initially, Zeex will launch as a web-based app followed by apps for iOS and Android. Some of the key features include -
